  • La La Land

    La La Land

lowkey technical masterpiece but i didn’t care about the story. the end felt very “i need to make you cry” and i don’t like musicals 🤷‍♂️ it’s like a better In The Mood For Love so that’s good 👍

  • Mean Girls

    Mean Girls

too quotable tbh. such a classic and the definitive number one chick flick.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

this was really cool. very funny and well-choreographed. i loved the first act, liked the second, and slept through the third. sorry but that huge cgi fight at the end really didn’t do this film justice.

  • Twilight

this was soooo bad it’s great. like was the cast and crew taking this film seriously? i had a great time nonetheless and that baseball scene is peak fiction.

  • He's All That

    He's All That

like kissing booth, this is a guilty pleasure. it never took its self too seriously and i laughed out loud a few times so that’s fun. addison rae didn’t do THAT bad and cobra kai boy is lowkey hot ngl.

ya know that whole relentless surreal nightmare thing that everyone praises come and see for, well this is that cranked. i live for this type of unique and inventive directing. i’m so pissed i have to wait for requiem because aronofsky is a mastermind. a lot of symbolism i would love to pick apart on a rewatch. i also really love seeing these underground careers that require so much more work than we think, like in nightcrawler. masterful film pls watch.

i have finished tarantino… and i just didn’t like this. it’s super slow and lacks any creative freedom. honestly, this does nothing for tarantino’s career. the story is too convoluted for its pacing, the characters are cool for most part but not engaging, and it has no fun. for a film about “realistic people” putting them in a story like this just wasn’t the best idea. i was into it for like 20 minutes and then gave up. i think the performances are good but that’s kinda just it, the rest is average to meh.
