Inferno

Inferno ★★★★

Argento creates a cinematic labyrinth, bathed in neon and blood. So many of its passages lead to nowhere -- wrong turns. The structure of the narrative follows the structure of the setting, of the architecture. It is hard to classify this into a specific subgenre of horror, as it seamlessly follows from supernatural, to giallo, to gothic, to mystery, to splatter, to downright surrealism.

Argento continues to prove himself to be one of my favorites.
