As much as I want Henry Golding to catapult to massive stardom, Snake Eyes isn’t it. Think of every bland origin story cliche & cram it into one movie & you get…well this. A dull bargain bin Batman Begins that’s…fine at first but worsened by forced GI Joe connections.
The frustrating part is the action isn’t even good enough to excuse the mess of a story. I couldn’t even make out half of what was going on. Damn shame…

Witnessed this masterpiece in a theater with a packed house. We laughed, we cried, we cheered, we sang….it was fucking beautiful man
This theatrical viewing cemented it as one of my favorite FILMS of all time. Best theater going experience of the year! THE ENERGY was unreal and I somehow managed to appreciate it even more than I thought I could.
I’ve also never heard so many people chant and clap “Jeffrey Bezos” in my life!
Whether Disney admits it or not this is unabashedly a queer movie and it’s frustrating that they continue to push that kind of representation aside (both this and Raya CLEARLY alluded to this).
That being said…this a very warm, light, and charming tale of acceptance that manages to pull on the heartstrings when it’s all said and done. Beautiful environments, cute gags, reminded me of the Peanuts Movie. Definitely a solid outing for Pixar! Not everything needs to be Soul or Inside Out.

Black Widow fucking RULES. This was 100% my kind of MCU flick. Some of the most sincere emotions & intimacy out of the ENTIRE MCU. A gripping 90s style spy action thriller w/ GREAT characters & powerful themes. All I’m gonna say is Moonraker Bond fans 😏
