I finished watching and then immediately rewatching some pretty heavy drama series back to back (Sharp Objects, Euphoria, Chernobyl, Big Little Lies), so I had been having a hard time committing to a new show after all the emotional drain. I thought I'd watch a nice little anime series to boost my spirits for a bit. I picked this one because my friends liked it and it had a cute little happy picture on Netflix. Magical Girls? Delightful! :)

The devastating centerpiece of the Twin Peaks universe. While it doesn't get the same fanfare as the most celebrated episodes of either series, I sincerely think this is as good as any of them. Since I love the The Return and the Lynch directed episodes of the original series more than any movie I've ever seen, I suppose that would make this my all time favorite movie
