Young people have saying when someone is like something else, but worse in every way: It's like you ordered the real thing on wish. This movie feels like you ordered a Woody Allen film on wish. If someone would tell me this is a Direct-to-DVD release i would't question that the slightest bit. It is just so incredibly bad. It really appears that director Peter Glanz wanted do something in the style of Woody Allen, but never understood what makes…

A very strong and worthy sequel. This movie elevates the character played by Toshirô Mifune to a new level of epic Samurai portrayal, while also introducing Kôji Tsuruta as an intriguing force in the background. The movie does a great job and keeping the suspense up and and making the viewer want to see both of them having a go at each other, just to leave one hanging and waiting.

The classic Herzog / Kinski combo is always good for a wild and interesting ride. Quite literally in this instance, as most of the movie is spend on a boat ride along the rivers of the Amazon rain forest. And what a great ride that is. Beautiful,a bit documentary-like, pictures of sequences and feats no sane human would have shot, terrific acting from one of cinemas greatest lunatics, a story so grand and stupid one just has to fall in love with it. This is a form of film making we might never see again in modern times.

I came because Kat Dennings and i sat through it because... well, against better judgement and knowledge i don't like quitting movies, no matter how bad they are. And this was pretty bad. A wild and loose collection of stereotypes packed into an ensemble without any measurable charisma try to perform a drama they lack the skill for and make jokes that just aren't funny. Shitshows like this are what streaming services are for, just keep this filth out of cinemas.
