Gumby Badger’s review published on Letterboxd:
With its dopey con artists bumbling into things, and its mix of comedy and thriller, this feels a bit like a proto-Coen Brothers film. Unfortunately it doesn't quite pull it off. Even though by this point Hitchcock had proven himself a master of blending comedy and thrills, he fails at both here. Mostly I think it comes down to being let down by the performances.
