Without a doubt, one of the best editing I have witnessed in my life so far.
Also, f****** awesome story, cast, directing and absolutely of the greater relevance as of today.
Don't get me wrong: I love psychological and confusing movies. Yet, this one was... exceptionnally boring. It is ok to be confusing, but when your movie is filled with pseudo-intellectual conversations and endless falsely philosophical debates in a car ride, it is not confusing, it is just long and tiresome. The movie is endless: don't expect anything to happen before the climax (beautifully shot though), except for Toni Colette (the real big deal of this movie as always❤❤❤). Reckoning on…
What? Do you mean, that colonialism is not about bringing progress to impoverished countries ? That not everyone validated colonialism at the time? And that (oh dear) colonialism was first and foremost to STEAL MONEY from the colonized countries??!
Don't remember anything like that in my history books.
