    One Night in Miami...

Power just means a world where we're safe to be ourselves.

Regina King confidently takes a stage play and directs a fantastical meeting between a group of historical greats and makes it looks easy.
Once the guys get together and bounce off one another it really is magic. Kingsley Ben-Adir is electric as Malcolm X but the core four are all great.
Definitely worth a watch, if anything to inspire more interest in these figures.

    Locked Down

I know this has been made in the circumstances detailed in the film, which we're all living through and experiencing but it feels so slapdash.
It almost comes across like a stage-play in it's workshop stage. The monologuing, oh God! There is so much time spent watching the characters rant at each other and it's exhausting. The very charismatic actors try their best but I hated the characters. In the end, I hated most of the film.

Settles the age old debate, 'Would you marry a cat?' I mean... We've all had that conversation... Right?

A vibrant, weird, silly Ghibli movie which I only found out after was a spin-off. Its cute, if by no means their best.

Worth it for a very naughty Mark Ruffalo.

It's an erotic thriller but it's got a feminine perspective which is quite refreshing. I feel like they don't make movies like this any more but I'm stuck trying to figure out if they ever did. The editing and imagery are intriguing and Meg Ryan is going very much against type. It feels unique.

Hello, cinema lovers, look at your action heroes, now back to me, now back at your boring action stars, now back to me. Sadly, they aren’t me, but if they stopped using boring grey colour palettes and switched to neon lighting, they could look like me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in Morocco with the assassin of your dreams and he's taking off his belt. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s a…
