Nick Hernandez’s review published on Letterboxd:
Going in, I was expecting a great movie but had my doubts about this living up to the original. But s**t I was wrong. This was nearly just as poignant and moving.
The scenery in both movies is incredible. Makes me want to visit both Vienna & Paris.
One thing that blows my mind is how much they just absolutely nailed the endings in both movies, especially the sequel when there’s more pressure. I mean back to back jaw-dropping endings. Dare I say perfect movie endings back to back. I can’t imagine what it was like experiencing these in the theaters.
Overall, I still slightly prefer the original but this is definitely 1B to It.
