Though it’s not without its faults (mainly writing and acting); I enjoyed this more than the first installment. Not overly impressed, but it was a fun time. The main storyline is intriguing enough for me to see how it all ties together in the final act.

Still a disturbing lack of adults… butΒ at least it makes sense this time, given the setting.

I WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH RATCATCHER 2 & KING SHARK.

Holy shit, this was a good time.Β THISΒ is the suicide squad movie we deserved.Β Great cast, great characters and excellent writing/directing by Gunn. By far the most fun I’ve had streaming anything on HBO Max.

Me: thoroughly confused by what the fuck I just watched.

After reading @ScreeningNotes review, I am convinced that this really is a cinematic masterpiece. I feel like it warrants an immediate rewatch. I love films that leave things up to interpretation and I’ve been thinking about this nonstop since I watched it.

β€œDreams don’t make sense and reality isn’t like the movies” is basically how I’d sum it up.
