Halloween ★★★

That a film has laid the foundations for everything that came later in that genre, does not make it a master piece if all those bases are bullshit. Silly adolescent characters without reaction; a world around that does not react to what happens just because the plot calls for that to happen (incredible the part in which the psychiatrist "orders" the police chief not to alert the population because then they will see the murderer in all sides, and the police pay attention to him...); and all the dull and meaningless situations that horror movies in general have. He will be the first to do it and that puts him a little above the rest to Mr. Carpenter, but I do not see that he has done well ... He simply created the blockbuster horror movie, and it is one of the worst things that the cinema. Yes, worse are those that today, almost 40 years later, are copied and over copied badly ...
