    "You made yourself court jester."

I apologize in advance for how long this is.

I haven't watched a new movie in over a week. For months, I consistently watched one or two movies a day. Even if I was busy with work or school, I found the time because I love cinema. While I am currently busy with school, I've still had some free time that I would normally devote towards watching movies, but I haven't. I can't bring myself…

Avoid this movie. There are historical inaccuracies all the way through. It's well made but this apparently is loosely based on The Accidental Billionaires which the bits Fincher and Sorkin took are widely DEBUNKED. It showcases Fincher doesn't care for history, Mark Zuckerberg, and that he has a total obsession with artistic interpretation. Movies should NOT have any artistic freedom of history and should completely follow everything the way reality did. Erica Albright isn't even a real fucking person. How…

Like ORDER OF THE PHOENIX, this feels like a good TV episode that can't really stand on its own. It is an improvement though, as the significant moments are much more powerful than PHOENIX (I remember hiding tears coming out of the theatre in 2009), especially in terms of what's going in with Malfoy. Yates bring some solid direction to this one as well and is again an improvement over his work in the previous one and I for the…

I don't have much to say about this film because frankly I just don't think there's that much to it. All of the significant moments just feel like we've already seen them before and everything else doesn't add up to all that much. There's barely even any moments dedicated to these characters together with a pure focus on their relationships! A film about the ministry not believing in the return of Voldemort is intriguing but the film does very little…

Saw this at its official world premiere with the lads Robert Eggers, Robert Pattinson, and Willem Dafoe in attendance!! I know that I have a lot of other Cannes reviews to catch up on, but I feel as though I need to prioritize this one the most, since many of you all may have been anticipating this film as much as I have.

Hands down the best new film that I've seen at Cannes on my trip easily, and…

    The Irishman

THE IRISHMAN feels like the film Martin Scorsese was born to make. Except that he had to wait until he made masterpieces that branded themselves as staples of American cinema, crossing different genres and different decades. THE IRISHMAN feels like such an ending, such a reflection on not just Scorsese’s career, but also a certain brand of films that he and these actors were apart of for so many years. Beginning with THE GODFATHER films and progressing into works such…
