Jonathan Milott’s review published on Letterboxd:
Blade Runner is probably my favorite all-time movie and by today’s standards, it’s a slow burn, but its visual world-building is epic, influential, and transcends most sci-fi.
Possessor is not on Blade Runners level but its slow-burn confident aesthetic is striking and should be appreciated by anyone looking for a fresh sci-fi experience. Like BR a basic assassin plot sets the stage for deeper layers and themes. Many of the ideas and images will be sticking with me for a while. So far, my favorite film of the year.
