Craig J. Clark’s review published on Letterboxd:
"It's important not to withhold."
There are traces of his father's eXistenZ and Videodrome in Brandon Cronenberg's latest feature, a tale of high-tech assassinations carried out by hijacked vessels. (Regarding the former, the casting of Jennifer Jason Leigh in a key role is a dead giveaway.) Possessor is far from derivative, though. In fact, one could argue it's about Brandon's efforts to become comfortable in his own skin.
