Jennifer Carpenter gives a solid performance for the first half of the film. In the second half she becomes a shrieking wreck, screaming constantly for about 60 minutes straight, which spoiled the movie somewhat. The film begins incredibly slowly, and the story takes a while to build, with the last 30 minutes throwing caution to the wind and going ham in the battle of good against evil. The finale…
