Daryl’s review published on Letterboxd:
Don't get me wrong. This is a five star sequel. But the 154 minute "Special extended edition" adds so much unnecessary flab that the movie loses its momentum and just stops dead in some of the added scenes.
While the CPU fiddling scene is a superb feat of practical effects work, it comes after the T-800 stitching up Sarah Connor's back AND Sarah Conner pulling bullets out of the T-800's. It's too just much fannying around.
Oh... and don't get me started on that godawful tacked on future ending, where old age Sarah Connor looks like 2015 Biff Tannen in Back to the Future Part II.
Love the theatrical cut. Really had a problem with this version.
