Shakespeare could never write something as complex, innovative and elaborate as this. He couldn't write such iconic heroes and villains, he couldn't pull off the epic ARCS that this movie MASTERED.
this was everything Netflix has been trying to produce, and MORE. the twists, the turns, the drama, the romance. and, of course, the Christmas spirit. it took everything that made The Princess Switch (2018) a modern Christmas classic, and TRIPLED it in the best way possible.

the cast did what they could, and the ending was pretty alright, but the arcs fell so short and the script just wasn't... very good?
