Suheb Khan’s review published on Letterboxd:
I think we forget things if we have no one to tell them to.
Upon a rewatch I can say that this is not just my favourite Irrfan movie, but one of my favourite Hindi movies.
Saajan Fernandes will always be special to me. He was our Theodore Twombly. An ode to loneliness, Mumbai and so much more.
The fact that Irrfan chose The Lunchbox over Interstellar speaks the magnitude of his cinematic understanding. He loved Indian cinema over anything. And he contributed so much to the Indian film industry, that itself explains why this man had zero haters.
RIP, sir Irrfan Khan.
Never has the death of someone I've never met felt so personal. We will miss you so much, and thank you for everything.
