    Summer of 85

I think I liked this more than the film deserves. It didn't always do a very good job executing the two timelines in a way that made sense. But there were several incredibly sweet moments that gave it another 1/2 a star or 2.

  • Pecker

Pecker is infinitely quotable, so I won't even try to narrow it down. I nearly die of laughter every single time. This film is proof of John Waters genius.

  • Annette

I'm singing a song. A song about the film Annette. It is a song. A very strange song. It is a song. Like no song you've heard. Adam Driver sings one long chaotic song. I like this song. It's maybe a little bit long. But I still like this song. A baby puppet sings songs after Marion is gone. It's a little bit mad. Oh so grand. It is a song.

  • Stillwater

I watched 6 people walk out of this movie. It's far too long. The young girl who played Maya was the best part of this otherwise meandering film.

  • Reminiscence

Hugh Jackman's voice drove me a little crazy. Gravely and disingenuous. The whole thing felt dated.

  • CODA

I needed those happy tears today.

  • Respect

Jennifer Hudson's performance deserves our respect. This may be a standard biopic in many ways, but I was moved and fully entertained.  We're talking laughter and tears.

  • Jungle Cruise

    Jungle Cruise

I would watch anything with Emily Blunt and her magnetic presence carried me through to the end of this movie. Her and the bad dad jokes.

  • Luca

I'm a sucker for a good merperson tale.

    The Green Knight

    1. Dev Patel is smoking HOT, but did I blink and miss the supposedly steamy sex scene?
    2. If you are going to use hard to read fonts, give us more than two seconds to read them.
    3. That poorly CGI'd fox was distracting.
    4. Dev Patel IS smoking HOT.
