Boseman’s energy vibrates through the screen and Davis demands to be seen. Two gorgeous performances that deserve our attention. Not sure how well this play translates to the screen, but still very well done.
This was a little over polished and perfectly wrapped for my taste. But I can see how it has the right balance of sentimentality and celebrity to be loved by many. Cohen and Strong were very entertaining, but they seemed to be in a different movie.
