Aaron Bustos’s review published on Letterboxd:
I think I’m starting to have a breaking point when it comes to how violence is portrayed on screen. Not that I ever enjoyed watching it but before you go and say it, I know, I’m getting old. Well in Possessor, there’s plenty of it, and a gratuitous amount too. I know this is Cronenberg’s kid, so I knew what I was in for, but for the film’s sake, there’s a point for it. It wasn’t until the second half that I came around to vibin’ with this. By the end? It takes a sinister turn, I think will entice future fans.
