    Director Pablo Larrain's "Spencer" is an immaculate character study that focuses on Princess Diana as she struggles to navigate the traditions of the Royal family that she's being married into. Being afflicted with loneliness, mental anguish, and physical adversity as the feeling of having no control over her life begins to consume her and her actions. Needless to say, Larrain's direction and vision is masterfully crafted through each technicality of the film.

    "The Beta Test" is an insane trip of a movie that focuses on the identity crisis of a Hollywood agent. Faced with the temptations of infidelity and success, he struggles distinguishing reality from fantasy. There are a ton of brilliant ideas and concepts in this that are conveyed well in this. Brought together with good writing and frantic editing that reinforces the conflict and themes. While the whole package doesn't work, this is still a thoroughly enjoyable film.
