I don't know why, but I expected this film to be a low-rent British thriller. probably because from glimpsing at the posters I thought the main guy in it was that bellend from the Inbetweeners movie and Divergent.
anyway, I'm glad I watched it. it's like a cross between Universal Soldier, Drive, Dexter, and Maniac.
the soundtrack is boss too- electro like Drive, very atmospheric.
also, Ethan Embry as a gun dealer?! madness.
    great film.

for a film that was 12 years in the making and is on for nearly 3 hours, i expected at least one dinosaur or helicopter chase.

i enjoyed this for what it is and admire the cast and director for their tireless efforts and commitment.

more of a cinematic experiment than a masterpiece.
