    Dear reader,

Louisa had this powerful ability to tug at my heartstrings, Gerwig captured that and put on the big screen. My heart is forever indebted to struggling writers everywhere; it might be my favourite genre.

    Yours sincerely,

"You will hardly know who I am or what I mean,
But I shall be good health to you nevertheless,
And filter and fibre your blood.

Failing to fetch me at first keep encouraged,
Missing me one place search another,
I stop somewhere waiting for you."

Sometimes you just want a little fun to end the day. Sometimes you want to reflect on some of the atrocities committed in the name of peace and the horrific effects of imperialism; sometimes you just want to see a friendly rat wave and wish you could wave back.

I won't blame millenials for not watching this, but it is a shame it didn't get more support because Jodie Comer knocks it out of the park.

Split into three chapters, the first two sees the accounts from the spouse and the rapist. Each bastardising the truth, and leaving us with a very rashomon-reminiscent plot structure. The difference between this and Last Night in Soho, we very much see Ridley calling out the patriarchal structures that dominate and destroys women's lives.
