Matt 🔪’s review published on Letterboxd:
V/H/S/2 is a step up from its predecessor in many ways, yet it loses some of the grime and genuine creepiness of the first in the process. “Safe Haven” is worth the price of admission, a really impressive and downright gripping slice of gory horror. The wraparound story is utter garbage but all the shorts are decent to great. Not really sure if I prefer the aesthetically coherent first entry or this fun mixed bag sequel.
