Feel much the same as I did about this as the last time which is to say I enjoyed it very much and really came away especially impressed with the performances. A few things:
*Didn’t notice just how prevalent the super wide lens was here. First watch it came off as a fun artistic choice to add a nice bit of variety but this time it felt more integral to the visual style of the movie. Absolutely essential in setting the table for some of the dramatic close-ups that are some of the highest highs of the movie.
*Really was more affected by Emma Stone’s performance specially on this watch. As others have noted Lanthimos absolutely understands how to get the most out of her huge eyes with his visual style and cinematography and she nails so much of her performance from just those huge eyes.
*Speaking of faces holy shit Olivia Colman once again I cannot understand how she made her face that way in the last shot.
* The silly dancing scene was extremely good and fun
