A shame something as wonderfully strange and horrifying as this seems to have kinda been passed over here in the states while some other stuff from 2019 Cannes got unwarranted attention.
This is fantastic but is also about as bleak as it gets. Delusional characters trying to break free from imaginary binds in a country with very real trauma. Those Russians man... are they okay?
