I. Am. Not. Ashamed.
But i did tear up near the end when he's singing Remember Me to his Mamá Coco.
Coming from someone who would sometimes ignore his Mexican background and culture, this movie sure helped me embrace where I come from and where my family comes from a lot more.
Its obvious that the cast and crew worked so hard to get every detail right in this movie and the scenes with Miguel and Mamá Coco together seem to hit me hard considering it always brings back my memories with my grandma who lived just down my street growing up (who also passed away not too long ago), so thats probably why i tear up during those scenes.
Its a really great movie and the music is definitely something I never get tired of listening to.
This movie is just really so wonderful and it definitely has a lot of heart in it.
