An interesting Jean Arthur film where she finds herself caught in the middle of a murder trial. Cary Grant is delightful as always, he was so good with Jean and it's a shame they didn't do more together, and Ronald Colman also gives a memorable performance. The plot may be a little wobbly but the heart and charm of this film never let up, mostly because of Jean Arthur.
@Cormac, thanks so much for the recommendation! This was an interesting one and loved Jean flipping back and forth between Cary and Ronald. I'm already noticing Jean Arthur's filmography is a quicksand pit: the further I wade in, the deeper I sink. Will I ever be able to escape? Probably not and all the better for it
