Director Ryrie’s review published on Letterboxd:
What a fucking film. Honestly I am ashamed to say I've only seen it 5 times despite the fact it just came out in 2019 - I've got a little Mr. Eddy (or Dick Laurent) in my head, commanding I grab my blu-ray out and "study that motherfucker!".
I've also just gotta say that Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate in this, is probably the most beautiful female characters in at least the last decade of film. Her smile, fashion, makeup, Robbie's natural looks and the pure human felicity that is her performance is so charming. It really does justice to Sharon Tate - putting me close to tears this time, in the scene where she shows off her nursery.
