I don't know if people realize how heartbreaking this is apart from the consequences of wrong timing in relationships. Because I think it's more than the romance--we have childhoods and its parallelism with the latter generation through Katie and Toby, we have father-daugther dynamics (that absolutely broke my heart more than the romantic parts), and female friendships which I think is the one of the strongest forms of bond known to man (or should I say women).

It's everything, neatly married in a 1 hour and 30 minute feature.
