BlacKkKlansman ★★★★

Undercover brother. Incendiary yet totally accessible and entertaining as a genre movie, showcasing Lee’s usual punch drunk love of cinema, red hot anger, and tonal whiplash while also owning a clear three act structure and adhering pretty faithfully to a buddy cop formula. Need to see it again, but this is basically INSIDE MAN with the righteous fervor of DO THE RIGHT THING, only there’s no question whether or not we should be picking up a trash can and hurling it through the window of Sal’s shop.
