Is the first c in Arctic silent or just over powered by the t, or am I just suppose to enunciate them both like I don’t have better shit to do… Anyways, what did she do when she had to poop and pee? Were her drawers just full? You know she had at least one in the holster before crashing— or the crash made one drop. And that end part with him ragdolling her like she was Bernie from weekend at bernies… shit was hilarious.
Very well done, albeit a bit on the artsy side. The challenge with any movie of this type is create the illusion that WW2 may not have been inevitable. This movie didn’t exactly do that, which leads to the big reveal lacking the punch it could have.
Well shot. Great sound. Acting was well above my expectations, and at 2 hrs it at no point felt like a slog.
Paul Raci gives an incredible performance.
Truly what I’m looking for in a movie. A tribute to the recoup, rebuild, retire, and relearn. People in band are sheltered which means they aren’t so susceptible to the outside, which leads them to growth others can’t comprehend. It’s a mix of East and West Philo that resonates.
Hearing the world through what is going on in his head is a huge part of the film, and not what most want to generally hear in a film as it can be off-putting — and that’s to shame!
