I think this may be one of my new favourite war movies.
Okay I kid I kid but seriously I have no idea why I slept on this pure and heartwrenching piece of art.
It’s hard for me to say anything that hasn’t been said before about it, I can go on and on about the incredible metaphorical ideas and the brutal fantasy aspect wound in the backdrop of the Spanish Civil War.
But I just think everyone has said it better than I have so take it from me and watch this movie as soon as you can. You’ll never look at a fantasy story quite like this again.
Also Jesus Christ Guillermo way to make me wince 5 fucking times throughout this movie.
