Army of the Dead

Army of the Dead ★★★★★

Our emotional sights conflicted by the melancholic tangle of loss and regret. Forging new pathways to reconcile that pain that consumes the world around us. Not only just the most kinetic thrill ride with quick pace and relentless motion (with that god like title credits hitting you like a bullet to the chest). But also a picture working through the relentless baggage weighing down on its shoulders through energized genre work and manipulated experimental visual work. A monumental work with traces of Romero and Peckinpah. Incredible work that still has me in awe.
