Jakub Flasz’s review published on Letterboxd:
If there is anything memorable about this movie, it's Peter Stormare as Lucifer, or as he is affectionately referred to - Lou. Though, come to think of it, it is not as big a deal as I thought, because Peter Stormare jumps off the page in every film.
Maybe the visuals are impressive at times and obviously Tilda Swinton takes over every frame she's in, but all in all, "Constantine" is as bland as I remember it being. Too much expository dialogue, too many puns, too little substance, or sincerity. If you want to bring to life a story as ridiculous in its premise as that one, you really need to believe in it and take it seriously.
