The Trial of the Chicago 7

Fingers crossed this wins Best Picture.

  • Full Metal Jacket

    Full Metal Jacket

After my first time viewing the other day, Full Metal Jacket has become my favourite Vietnam war movie, my favourite war movie, and possible, my favourite Kubrick movie.

  • The Thing

    The Thing

One of the greatest sci-fi horror movies. The effects and setting made for a creepy atmosphere, while Ennio Morricone’s score (so unfairly nominated for a Razzie) helped build up the eeriness.

  • Fight Club

    Fight Club

It’s amazing! Even though I was expecting more fighting and more clubbing, I was not disappointed, only to feel even less disappointed by the end!

  • Alien³

What!? Why is this rated a 2.9!? This has got to be almost as good as the first two!

  • Die Another Day

    Die Another Day

This was the first Bond film I watched. I don’t understand the negative reviews at all. It’s a decent movie.

  • The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

A great film, with a strange plot, but doesn’t seem strange while watching it. Don’t listen to the bad reviews. Brad Pitt, amazing as always. Although at certain points he looked like Matt Damon from The Talented Mr. Ripley.

  • Bugsy

Wow. I’ve only seen Warren Beatty in one other film (Bonnie and Clyde), but this is by far his best performance. I’ve seen clips of his other films, but they don’t come any closer than this.. from what I’ve seen, of course. The movie was great, but Warren Beatty’s portrayal of Bugsy Siegel is fantastic, and the best part about this movie. Annette Benning is great as always.

  • Trolls World Tour

    Trolls World Tour

I would’ve rated it a 3, if the rock music side one. Pop music is bad, I don’t know why anyone would sympathize with the “Pop Trolls”.

  • Picnic at Hanging Rock

    Picnic at Hanging Rock

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

I watched this movie at the same time I started getting into David Lynch. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this film. I knew I would like it, but not this much. It’s a horrifying movie. Not in the horror type of way, but in the Fire Walk With Me way, where you aren’t quite sure what is going on. I really enjoy these type of films; Mulholland Drive, Rosemary’s Baby, etc.

          But there’s something…

  • Mulholland Drive

    Mulholland Drive

I don’t even know how to review this. Like... I actually can’t. My brain won’t let me. All I can say is that it is amazing. I don’t even know why. Garmonbozia!

  • The Irishman

    The Irishman

This is the third longest movie I’ve seen, just behind Gone With the Wind and the extended version of Once Upon a Time in America. But the movie didn’t seem long at all. The pacing was fast, and I was never bored. Amazing movie. Another 2019 masterpiece.
