    Those Who Wish Me Dead

Started out very strong with an interesting premise, but doesn’t quite stick the landing at the end. The story itself was pretty good, and the performances were great all around. My only gripe was the ending was kinda unsatisfying. There are a couple of things brought up, but never resolved. Or at least not resolved on camera. But overall it is an entertaining film and it’s good to see Angelina Jolie back in movies.

    Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Jane Austin novel and mix in some zombies, what could go wrong? Sounds like a recipe for fun, but alas, this film does not know how to balance romance and horror. While there are a few cool battle scenes, the story itself is where this film falls flat, never embracing either side of premise. Oh well, at least I got to see Lily James kick ass.

    Romancing the Stone

Romancing the Stone is one of those 80’s films that remain classic. No matter how many times I watch it, it always delivers. From Danny DeVito’s spot on comedic timing with his always quotable one liners to the innocence with which Kathleen Turner’s delivers her performance to Micheal Douglas as a full fledged action star! This movie is always a treat to watch and shows why Robert Zemeckis is one of the great directors of all time.

The cold never bothered me anyway, it’s the wolves I hate.  But jokes aside, this is a half decent little thriller. It’s quick and tight, and pretty intense at times. And this one doesn’t have a talking snowman.
