Gabriel Jewett’s review published on Letterboxd:
Well here it is my final review for Halloween 2020, not my best year in terms of the quality of films. Next year I'm going to plan ahead and better, I watched Thunder Road not too long ago. I loved it, it was hilarious and heartfelt. One of the best films of 2018 and just one of the best films I've seen in a long time. Also I loved the main character in Thunder, and funnily wnough Wolf Of Snow Hollow is pretty much the same person but now he's fighting werewolves. I'm not accusing Jik Cummings of recycling character personalities at all, I love both characters in both films. They're flawed, funny, and exactly the kind of character I root for. I think Jim Cummings is really good here, he's not only a good writer and director the man can act really well it's nice. This was a very interesting take on werewolf films, and one of the best films I watched for Halloween if not the best. I highly recommend it.
