The more I think about it, this is my favorite Gaspar Noé film, which says a lot considering Irréversible is one of the most innovative & impactful films of this century. It's the most engaging his dialogue has been since I Stand Alone, and the meta themes really worked for me. It culminates in a spiritual revelation about the intangible power of cinema, which is directly related to all the chaotic energy involved in its creation. Shit was beautiful.
And the first 15 minutes? All I'll say is I saw many colors & patterns that were definitely not there. My eyes were in heaven.
