An intense, neo-noir romp through the modern day LA crime TV beat, Nightcrawler features a driven self-starter who sets his sights on underground LA journalism. A back door look into the competitive media scene, Nightcrawler exposes humanity's need for fast breaking news and information.
Jake Gyllenhaal delivers a beast of a performance as he continues to assert himself in the new wave of cinema heavyweights. With this string of roles in Prisoners, Enemy, and now this, he seems to have found a niche in intense thrillers and mindbenders. And what a directorial debut for Dan Gilroy! A great, intense ride!
