"Why are frogs falling from the sky?"
Thoughts: Just like Phillip Seymour Hoffman's character I too was questioning logic and well everything when the amphibian hail storm began. Throughout this film I thought the message was about coincidence. It turns out frogs falling from the sky isn't coincidental. The message or the morale turns out be that, in short, shit happens (sorry Office Jim for the language). I have a soul of ice and this didn't make me cry but my god did it almost. Paul Thomas Andersen is the greatest director ever when it comes to making people feel and become well emotional. Magnolia like its predecessor Boogie Nights both are fantastic films which are must sees and must continue to thrive on. Magnolia teaches one of the most important lessons: Shit Happens and You Can't Change It.
