Pretty funny but super long Warner Bros commercial. Love how dorky Lebron is and I think makes him perfect for something this schmaltzy. The branding of it all is self aware enough to make me prefer it to the first version of this and Ralph Breaks the Internet but it’s still not anything I’ll have an interest in returning to.
That being said JEEZ some of y’all are way too heated about this. I have no idea why this is being seen as the end of cinema or whatever, but even if you think it is this was not misleading in the marketing. If you walked into it expecting anything other than an IP showcase wrapped around a story for second graders then that’s on you. Just scroll down to the TCM section on HBO Max instead and you’ll have a much better time.
