Incredibly well made and great performances. The film isn't racist, the subject matter is, and it's handled very well. This is a very real film about human's manipulating animals as well as children. Even the history of how the film got made is interesting. One of my all time favourites.

Tried giving this film a chance a few times now but it's too stupid. Let's kill each other and party like spring break, yeah. Original film is awesome but this is badly written with bad cast.

Got that cheesy, sub-standard, Netflix feel to it. Without Leo this would be quite painful to watch, not sure why an actor of his calibre would consider this role (other than his motivation for climate change awareness).

Finally good to see a master filmmaker back in the cinemas. Old is a well made, well paced, film that keeps you engaged with strange phenomena events that warp what we know as reality. There's a great balance of mystery, comedy, drama and horror. Plus, the camera work is fantastic, I really liked the awkward angles and the abnormal camera movement. Also, the line-up of movie trailers coming soon looked great, looks like a new era of good films coming after the horrible draught of the last couple years.

This film is genius at work! The filmmakers have complete control over the viewer in ways that is almost impossible to do. Hopkins nailed the role of a deteriorating man with Dementia who is rightfully paranoid of what's happening around him, and we as an audience are right along with him questioning what the hell is going on. The cast and crew should be very proud of this film that will last through the ages. If I could give it 6 stars I would.
