i’m adding this to my list called ‘movies to watch when you’re about to move away from your hometown that you lowkey dig but have been waiting your whole life to leave even though that means leaving your mom and having to talk to her on her voicemail’. toy story 3 is on the list as well.

I think the movie spins around the idea that the human being is constantly trying to fill childhood voids during adulthood. These voids stand between them and happiness. Whether it is the lack of family or the excess of one; the feeling of being unlovable or the fear of being abandoned, they are our insecurities that command our life decisions. It could be for good or for bad, but either way the concept of happiness remains distant and unachievable.
