Someone recommended me this film and I really should have minded my business cause this was so hard to sit through. But I mean it has interesting visuals even if I don't understand entirely what it means or represents but I was entertained at least, for the most part.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
After that opening scene kicks in it just hovers over the rest of the movie, it has such a tragic and devastating effect. Vanessa kirby's performance is definitely worthy of an Oscar nomination but can we talk about Ellen Burstyn and the long monologue she delivers flawlessly. I absolutely loved the courtroom scene, it even made me tear up because of how much of a relieved it felt after going through hell along with Kirby's character.
