Pure goddamn bliss. Where art meets exploitation. Sleazy and sexy as hell. A surreal psychedelic masterpiece. Dissolves into an abstract psychosexual nightmare. An erotic tale of perversion and desperation. Chock full of blood and sex. Scorpions. Passionate reds. Great set design. Out of this world cinematography. Steamy and sensual love scenes. Nasty violence. An all time great score. The stunning Soledad Miranda in perhaps her most famous role. Everything you’d want from a lesbian vampire sex film and more. One of the most beautiful films I've ever seen.

    The Hunger

One of the most visually stunning films I’ve seen in quite some time. In his debut feature, Scott displayed his immaculate visual style that would follow throughout his incredible career. We also get stellar performances from Deneuve, Sarandon, and Bowie. Totally enthralling through and through. Absolutely fuckin' loved every second of this.

An ultra campy masterwork, a film that both builds on and surpasses it's predecessor. A grandiose sequel. A great utilization of a bigger budget for more elaborate sets and detailed props. Absolutely loved it.

A total classic, one I can't believe I hadn't already seen. Was incredible on the big screen. Loved it. Now it's time for The Bride of Frankenstein.

Pretty dull and uninteresting. There are some cool ideas but the execution is all messy. The main girl’s acting is godawful. Actually everyone is lackluster besides Benjamin Flores Jr., kid is damn good. Shot like an episode of Stranger Things. A super lame slasher flick that will appeal to the basic teenage Netflix users. More akin to the Scream tv series or that shitty AHS slasher season. Not my kind of shit at all.

"I can't believe these dudes are beating us out on being murdered, like honestly the privilege is just ridiculous."

A modern day made for TV remake chock full of great characters, awesome callbacks, female gaze, and cheesy slasher goodness. This is the kind of shit I wanna see from now on. A super tight 86 minutes and with a 32 second end credits scroll, I didn't know they still made films like this. Motherfuckin' glorious stuff. Loved it.

Edit: This severely embarrasses Halloween Kills in absolutely every way. More low budget remakes of low budget classics please.
