Jill Malcolm’s review published on Letterboxd:
Not as solid as the first, but some fun moments for sure. This franchise runs into trouble when it tries to have two protagonists in Vanellope and Ralph. The focus should remain on Ralph, and the exploration of toxic masculinity. The internet is the perfect venue for such thematics and I wish that aspect was teased out more, even if it was at the expense of Vanellope’s storyline which was more in service to Ralph’s anyway. The princess stuff is pretty good, I wish it wasn’t in the trailer.
Also, meme or no meme, the title should have been Ralph Wrecks the Internet. Clearly.
