    I expected more.
    It was barely watchable.
    The actors were fine.
The material and/or direction was lacking.
    Boredom kept creeping in.

    A huge disappointment.

(Watched the Ex-tended Edition.) Eleven more minutes.

    This film is simply GREAT.

    Provides a memorable experience.

This one has become a favorite.

    Highly Recommended for a date-flick.

It couldn't have been much better.

    A beautiful, almost hypnotic, film.

The images are intended to make you think.

I noticed (today) this one is now available
    in the 4K HDR format.
I had to check it again.
I couldn't wait to see the images in even greater
    clarity.
    I wasn't let down.
This movie has always been a stunning success.
But with that said, the film is getting better with each 'upgrade'.

Your own mind provides the narrative when viewing
    the incredible imagery.
    See this film.
You'll want to revisit it from time to time.

    One of the best.
    Very Highly Recommended

    Return to Paradise

    ★★★½

iTunes had this one on sale.
    Is it worth watching?

Should it be in your collection?

    Absolutely.

Vince Vaughn and Anne Heche give top-tier performances.

This film has an excellent storyline.
    The realism will grab you.
Much of the time you will wonder how
you would react given the same situation.

I enjoyed this far more than I thought I would.

After reading multiple reviews, I found myself
still very much on the fence with this film.

I'm not going into detail on this one.
I will say that my expectations were extremely low.

There is just enough "awesome" to make the movie
    worthwhile.
    Hannah Fierman's performance was memorable.

    I purchased this film.
    I'm happy to own it.

If you're in the mood, this film delivers.
    Slightly above average.
You may be surprised. (I was).

    A light recommendation.

There are many aspects of this film
that have the ability to "haunt" you.
After seeing this movie, I found myself thinking about it the next day.
Watching this was surprising in many ways.
I was not expecting the movie to be this good... this... profound?

    Sarah Polley owns this story.

    Life, love, aging.... (gaining knowledge
    and experience along the way.)

    Sarah Polley is Harper Sloane.

    Love and Other Disasters

    ★★★

I purchased this film... mostly because Brittany Murphy was the protagonist.
    Her performance was exemplary.
This is, however, a mediocre attempt by many involved
    in the production.
In fairness, the cast did the best they could (all things considered). The comedy worked very well
    SOME of the time.
But, it also fell flat at times. I believe the script needed more work.
The addition of Breakfast at Tiffany’s footage was a novel approach.
There were thinly veiled references throughout.

    REWRITE:
This movie is a visual feast.
A 4K monitor is, in my opinion, a necessity.

Other than the cool visuals that pop up from
time to time... there is little else here.

Kind of a shame. It could've been... good?
