Maye it's my fault, but I expected this to be more of a horror film than a family drama. It was mostly just the parents talking about protecting their children but they both literally did the opposite at every given moment. But the monsters were awesome and some scenes had me holding my breath. Visually I thought it was very well done and I love the concept but the lack of logic in the entire film stops me from completely loving it. A fun watch, though, even if it made me cry which I was not at all expecting. And the score was really beautiful.
